How to be a Therapeutic Parent
As adoptive, foster, or even biological parents, we all tend to wonder how we could be doing better. How can I parent better? I can I support my child better? How can I be more present for my child? These questions led us to a fantastic blog by writer/author/ adoptive parent Lori Holden. She, along with another adoptive parent, Adi Tilford, share how to be a therapeutic parent. Thus creating a therapeutic home.

The three principles include addressing the following ideas:
- Do my children feel safe?
- Am I in a learner stance?
- Have I gone there first?
