2017 Kenya Connection Trip

This past summer Hope’s Promise was excited to host a Connection Team to Kenya. Taking 27 people on the nearly 9,000-mile journey was just the beginning. Team leaders Colleen Briggs and Beth Sheveland not only helped us

cross the physical miles but emotional barriers as well as we wrestled through the concepts of poverty, loss, abandonment, family, grace, and God’s provision in the midst of it all. Our team was multi-talented and joined by musicians and artists, two of whom are budding filmmakers, Isaac and Mitch Morse. After the trip, the Morse twins created a short documentary about our journey. We invite you to see a small part of this amazing story.
