Sierra Leone Adoptions

Located on the Western coast of Africa, Sierra Leone has been ravaged by civil war since 1991. This tragedy has resulted in tens of thousands of deaths, over 1/3 of the population has been displaced, and countless children have been orphaned by the brutal and senseless killings. Hope's Promise is committed to caring for the orphaned and fatherless throughout the world in Jesus' name. Can you help us find forever families for these children who suffer and wait?

Criteria for adoptive families:

If married, a couple must have been married for at least two years. Single women can adopt. The government of Sierra Leone will not place a child with gay or lesbian applicants. No other criteria exists at this time. Adoptive families are required to travel to Sierra Leone twice during the adoption process.
